Inter Milan hitman Hernan Crespo has taken a swipe at former club Chelsea, insisting he does not understand why any striker would move there.
I'm no fan of Chelsea but it just sounds like Crespo had a bad experience with the team and that his circumstances may not apply to all strikers.
If anything I can understand why any striker (or player) would want to move there.
You could be the best player in the world, already played on the top-level and won many trophies. However, to play for the richest team in the world, and play where your superstar status means nothing and you're rewarded the same as everyone else sounds like a dream come true.
I can't blame any player wanting to move to Chelsea. It's the one team where you'll never ever be truly invincible, even if you can score in every match.
I'm transferring to Chelsea :)
In that case, feel free to score a few own goals for me. Perhaps you could accidentally break Didier Drogba's leg in training too.
He didn't really fit in in his two seasons with Chelsea, so I can understand his saying this. It is rumoured that Andriy Shevchenko could be a Milan player again before the end of January as he has had the same problems adapting. Crespo is Inter's top scorer with five this season in Serie A.
