Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

I voted 'other'. You kind of have to watch all the favrourites with appropriate snacks to get the total Christmas feeling... and yes I do that :-) p.s. You missed the original Grinch and Rudolph.

I'm just considering movies, Grinch and Rudolph are TV Christmas TV specials.

You're right - I just think of them as movies. Will now compound my embarassment by admitted this weird choice for Christmas movie...
Die Hard.

You know, I watched part of this on TBS once and they dubbed it as "YippeeKayAy, my friend." If I had a gun, I would have shot my TV.

I'm going to have to agree with Glinda here. (You also left off A Charlie Brown Christmas and White Christmas

Though I don't watch them much anymore, I probably would have voted for the old stop motion animated Rudolph and Santa Claus stories -- (and maybe the Charlie Brown) because those are the stories that I remember loving as a kid. It didn't feel like Christmas until the night we got to see those.

So, "other" -- I guess. A Christmas Story deserves to be up there, though. Like Glinda said, they all play a different role.

A Charlie Brown Christmas is more of a TV show. Re: White Christmas, it could easily be on the list but I have to draw the line somewhere or else it will be 15 movies long. I tried to pick movies from several eras for variety and to start conversation. I cannot believe Jingle All the Way got a vote before Elf.

Had to be a cheeseball and vote It's a Wonderful Life.
Though I'm also incredibly partial to The Nightmare Before Christmas.

It combines the power of Halloween and Christmas!

What's up with not including Bad Santa? Certainly the feel good Christmas movie of our time.

I watch that, and Love Actually every year now as my Christmas movies.

Yay! Jingle All the Way is on the list! Not my top choice, but it's become a holiday tradition alongside Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation in our house. And I thought our family was weird *awaits comment confirmation*

Scrooged. You know, the one with Bill Murry.

Especially the opening scene. It reminded me of the Weird Al song, "The Night Santa Went Crazy", which is, of course, one of the best Christmas songs of all time.

My god! I can't believe Home Alone and Home Alone 2 haven't been mentioned! This is possibly the best movie/sequel combo of all time, and both are certainly deserving of a mention when talking about the best Christmas movies.

Though Love Actually is a close 2nd...

If you've never seen it, it is truly a gem and damn funny.
