Eagle Eye: Giant Rematch

advertisement

Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants

4:15pm ET Sunday, Fox.
Giants favored by 5.5 points.
Previous meeting: Week 2, Giants 30 - 24 Eagles (in OT).

Both teams are 7-6 and vying for a wild card spot. The recent history of these two division rivals is that one side wins both regular season games. The Giants won the first meeting so that does not bode well for the Eagles.

Keep an Eye out for:

Tiki Barber

The Eagles defense has given up an average of 191 yards per game in their last four games and Barber is the best running back they have faced in a while. It would not surprise me if he runs for close to 200 yards.

Special Teams and Turn-overs

With the Giants controlling the game with their run game, the only chance to win the Eagles may have is to get a few turn-overs and possibly a big punt or kick return. Conversely if the Eagles turn the ball over more than the Giants then they could lose in a blow-out.
