Remember that amazing Italian coffee maker you once got for Christmas? Or the cool juicer that was going to transform your diet? Tim Hayward offers a definitive guide to the kitchen tools we all have - but never actually use
I've managed to avoid most of those useless things, but the ones that I have, I actually use. I have three wooden spoons and a wooden spatula that I use regularly, and I have a ceramic garlic pot (though mine is inscribed Knoblach instead of garlic), that I store garlic in. I have had some cooking tools that I didn't use, but my wife and I are on a determined crusade to rid our house and our lives of things we don't need/don't use, so we've gotten rid of most if not all of them.
Mydree - This is hilarious! I love that the author approached this with a sense of humor. We've all made some bad purchases that seemed like a great idea at the time. After reading this I want to run down and clean my kitchen of some useless clutter!
