Why the Eagles will win

advertisement

PHILADELPHIA -- Despite the NFL's new-found love for the New Orleans Saints, and their wishing and hoping for the team to get to the Super Bowl, by late tomorrow night the Saints will remain the only NFC franchise to never make it to a conference championship game.

That's right, the Eagles, a five- point underdog, will go to the Superdome and come home one win away from the Super Bowl.

New Orleans, a year removed from the Hurricane Katrina tragedy, has become America's darlings, and the NFL would like nothing more than to have the Saints in Miami for the Super Bowl.

It's not going to happen.
