If you weren't glued to the TV on Saturday, you might have heard that MLS has teamed up with Mexico to form a new, wide-ranging competition.
If you didn't, well, you can't be blamed — the announcement was kind of buried.
Make no mistake though: "SuperLiga," an eight-team July-to-August competition featuring some of the top clubs in the Mexican first division and MLS, has the chance to become one of the most exciting tournaments of the summer.
