Days after Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced the iPhone in early January, chatter through the grapevine suggested the iPhone may be ready to ship earlier than the June timetable Apple put forward.

Fingers crossed. Hopefully an earlier release in the US will mean an earlier release else where eg where I live. Maybe I can get an iPhone by Christmas.
