Real Men Like Romantic Movies Too

NEW YORK, Jan 31 (Reuters Life!) - Men might protest when they're dragged along to the latest "chick flick" but really they enjoy romantic movies almost as much as women, according to a new U.S. study.

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

I knew it! Have you also noticed how men cannot resist reading women's magazines even though they diss them?

Most men can't read and are functionally illiterate. Those men are just looking for pictures of hot chicks.

Such negativity!

I'll take a good Romantic Comedy any day over people beating each other up, humilliating each other, or men getting kicked in the balls.

If only "Action" didn't mean "Violence"...

Will I shock you guys if I tell you that I consider Terminator 1 to be one of the most romantic movies of all time, besides being a great action flick? A hero who's been starved for love reaching across time to save a woman he's known only from a faded photograph and a heroine fighting for survival against tremendous odds get together for one night of tenderness and passion and give birth to mankind's saviour. It sounds silly, but was soooo romantic.
