I like Henry but if it will improve the team then transfer him.

I'm not sure how his leaving would improve the team. Henry has been and still is a great performer for Arsenal and I think they need him. I wonder if the rumour recently about some "disagreement" between him and the manager has more to it than first thought.

He would leave in exchange for $$$$ which the team could spend on other players to improve the team.

Selling Henry will be like the Queen selling the crown jewels.

The Daily Express is so often wrong about these rumours. I just don't see Henry leaving. Arsene Wenger's Arsenal has been built around him. The fans worship him. The team is great. He's making money.

If it's about winning trophies, he has every chance with Arsenal. Remember Vieira going on and on about winning titles and then leaving Arsenal only to not win anything since then.

Arsenal doesn't sell players for money. It would be extremely weird to sell their best asset just for money.

This rumor happens every transfer window. When the rumor started about Beckham in '03 , and the money number came out, I thought ManU would have been crazy not to take it. $100M for Zidane, crazy not to take it. But Henry at this age isn't going to get $100M and he has too much value on the pitch otherwise. Emirates Stadium had better bring in plenty of money, since that was the justification.

Of course, there are still 27 yank football team owners who don't own clubs in England yet so you never know.
