Manchester United and Chelsea both won so there is no change at the top of the table, Man Utd still lead by six points. Arsenal won but Wigan gave them a scare. Liverpool had a rough time in Newcastle. At the bottom of the table, Watford beat West Ham.
Reading 2 -0 Aston Villa
Sidwell (16', 90') scored early and late to earn Reading the points.
Chelsea 3 -0 Middlesbrough
Drogba (45', 83') netted a brace and Xavier (66') had an own goal in Chelsea's win over Boro.
Everton 1 -0 Blackburn
Andy Johnson's (10') early goal held up for Everton.
Manchester Utd 2 - 0 Charlton
Park (24') scored in the first half and Fletcher (82') scored in the second in Man Utd's win over Charlton.
Newcastle 2 - 1 Liverpool
Craig Bellamy (6') scored in his return to Newcastle and Liverpool led at the break but it wasn't enough. Martins (26') got the equalizer and Solano (70') the winner for Newcastle.
Sheffield Utd 2 - 1 Tottenham
Jenas (2') opened the scoring but the Spurs lead lasted less than 30 minutes. Hulse scored for the Blades before half-time and Jagielka (62') converted a penalty kick in the second half to secure the win over Tottenham.
West Ham 0 - 1 Watford
A tale of two penalty kicks. Henderson (12') converted a penalty kick for Watford however Harewood (59') failed to convert his penalty kick for West Ham.
Portsmouth 2 - 1 Manchester City
Kanu (81') got the winner for Portsmouth. Pedro Mendes (5') scored earlier for the Pompeys and Corradi (62') netted City's only goal.
Bolton 2 - 1 Fulham
Speed (23') and Nolan (51') scored for Bolton and then Knight (66') netted a goal for Fulham to make the last thirty minutes more interesting.
Arsenal 2 - 1 Wigan
Landzaat put Wigan ahead with his first half goal. An own goal by Hall (81') on a Flamini cross equalized for the Gunners. Rosicky's (85') late header earned the three points for Arsenal.
