Philadelphia Eagles begin hectic week of practice

advertisement

After taking Saturday off and literally clowning around a little Sunday at their 13th annual fan festival at Lincoln Financial Field, the Philadelphia Eagles will resume working out today at their South Philadelphia practice facility.

''We've got a lot of work to get done,'' Eagles coach Andy Reid said. ''We've got a lot of things we need to still finish up from a camp standpoint.''

Because the Eagles don't play their next preseason game until Sunday night at Pittsburgh -- and because they just had two days off -- they will get in more than a regular-season week's worth of practice, which is usually Wednesday-through-Friday workouts and a Saturday walk-through of assignments. They will also work today and Tuesday this week.
