Eagles Camp: preparing for the Jets

Eagles Head Coach Andy Reid at Tuesday's press conference.

Tuesday Philadelphia Eagles Head Coach Andy Reid talked a little about Thursday's pre-season game with the New York Jets.

Eagles back-ups will get the majority of play in the Jets game, as is usually the case in the final pre-season game. A.J. Feeley will start at quarterback and do not expect Donovan McNabb to play at all. Jeremy Bloom will get some more chances to return punts and kicks. The rumor is that Andy Reid has not been happy with Bloom's play and Greg Lewis will get some chances as well. G/T Shawn Andrews probably not play.

Who will be the Eagles punter this season? Dirk Johnson will start at punter Thursday but Saverio Rocca will play too. The battle of the punters may just be one of the few reasons to watch Thursday night.

That's it for now, see you Thursday morning.

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.
