MLS Preview: Final Super Classico of the season

This is the final regular season meeting of Chivas USA and the Los Angeles Galaxy. With a win Chivas will move into first place in the Western conference. Time is running out for the Galaxy, it will be very difficult for them to make the play-offs.

Chivas USA

12-4-6, 40 pts., 2nd place in West.

Chivas have won three of their last four games.

Last game: 3-0 win over New York on Sunday.

Players to Watch: F Maykel Galindo (shirt #11) is fourth in goals scored and F Ante Razov (#9) is sixth. GK Brad Guzan (#18) leads MLS in shutouts with 10.

Injury Report: OUT: DF Carlos Llamosa (L knee ACL surgery); GK Justin Myers (L foot fracture).

Suspended: Alex Zotinca (through Sept. 13).

International Absence: Ramon Nunez (Honduras; v Ecuador, Sept. 12).

The Galaxy will be without David Beckham as they face their local rival.

Last game: won 3-1 over Colorado Rapids to end a six game losing streak. It was the Galaxy's first win since July 4.

Players to Watch: Landon Donovan (#10). GK Joe Cannon (#1) should get a good work-out.
