When you take into account all of the preseason games they play, it all evens out.
Granted, they play for a limited amount of snaps, but if you ask players if they would rather play 4 meaningless preseason games or 2 preseason and 2 extra regular season games (which actually count for something) I think most "nonlazy" players would vote for the 2 extra regular games.
I, for one, sure would.
