Rumor Confirmed: Star Wars Live Action TV Series

advertisement

Over the last few hours I've been following rumors of a Star Wars live action television series which will be shot in Australia — well I've just confirmed from a source who has a friend that works at ILM that this rumor is in fact true! My understanding from what I've been able to gather is that the series will be high quality and tap into local talent from Australia from well know film people to science fiction writers.

Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Very good seed Michael

True much rather see it done by Aussies, in fact many of my favorite movies and directors come from there.

This is the first time I've seen this list and it's a little dated but made me remember a movie Breaker Morant. Awesome.

I will be looking foward to this.

Also I am a big fan of David Twohy, and there is a rumor about sequel to Riddick.

I have Star Wars burn out syndrome. If this was in the early 1980's it might be fun to watch but today, not so interested. What's new, what's to discover from the Star Wars universe that will keep our attention that hasn't been done in the clone wars animation?

Damnit some one needs to stop Lucas before he ruins Star Wars even more.

At this rate he will have to start buying other movies that were beloved memories from peoples childhood so he can ruin them.

"And now Digitally reimagined Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, with new Special effects by Lucas that removes all unhealthy sugary products and replaces them with vitamin supliments"

That would be a nice change of pace.
