Jake and Hawkins are wanted as terrorists by the A.S.A.

The alternative cover for the second issue. You can win this issue, see end of review for how.

The compelling story of Jake and Hawkins continues as a high ranking A.S.A officer visits Jericho.

At the end of the first issue of Jericho Season 3, Civil War Jake and Hawkins survived an attack by the Allied States of America (A.S.A). Also Hawkins received a text message from a mysterious man that compels them to enter into A.S.A territory. In their search for a way into New Mexico they find help from an unlikely source.

Meanwhile back in Kansas, the good people of Jericho are welcoming A.S.A Major Dominick Petrella to their town. The Major is visiting to see how Jericho has been pacified after a rebellion. Is there a rebel underground in town? Some people in Jericho hope to convince Major Petrella to end his support of President Tomarchio, the leader of the A.S.A.

I like the juxtaposition of the two storylines. The excitement and action of Jake and Hawkins' predicament is contrasted nicely with the quiet intrigue back in Jericho as people there try and get back to something approaching normal while dealing with the reality of being under A.S.A control. This is a very satisfying second issue of the Jericho comic book and I anxiously await the next issue.
